I have used this treatment for my self and many students of mine for several years since 2013 till now. Some English course will be the same with me that reading will help student to pronounce English word that will be different with bahasa. When you say “PEOPLE” you will say “Pe Ow Plee” but in English will say “ Piipel”. It looks so different with Bahasa. How to work this Reading treatment.
– First make sure that all your students have hold English text book or essay or something to read.
– Second get them to read that English text loudly together.
– Third get students to louder as if they are in private room and read as they can.
– Forht Pay attention for each student how to pronounce each of word you listen. Never blame them or interrupt them while they are reading.
– Fifth make sure that each lips of student look wet. When their lips are wet it means that they have tried hard and almost familiar with this English.
In this reading treatment there some tips that you have to do for effective way. Choose at simple story for English text. The next session must be different type of English text. Get student to read without understand meaning the text. Make in rondam English text for more challenge and let them guess how to pronounce English. Correct their pronunciation after treatment. Record every moment and evaluate every activity you did.
